We paint in watercolor, acrylic, & oils, (no toxic solvents). We do collages, drawings & experiment with new techniques while we continue learning and making friends. We contribute with our expertise to the group with assistance to new members, critiques and exchange of information to make it all happen.
We hire established artists to lecture and demonstrate painting in their medium & to critique our work. Our workshops target the intermediate to advanced level artists interested in the continued development of their skills. We pay a studio fee of $15.00 every time we attend plus and additional fee for workshops. Fee for workshops varies as the cost is divided among participants who sign to attend. We also share the minimal costs of exhibitions, when participating. We have an extensive lending library of books and DVDs available to members.
